Lost of things have changed since Christmas, sorry for such a long absence from the blogosphere. We have been in the states for just over three months and are nearing our babies due date. From here on out we will be staying mostly in Fallbrook, but realize there are many of you we have yet to see. If you are able it would be great if we could meet in Fallbrook. Also a lot is changing with our ministry in the Philippines and we want to keep you informed as to the changes that are in our future. Due to the sensitive nature of our new endeavor we are hesitant to share too much online, but we would love to speak to you in person. Please contact us so that we can share with you in more detail the exciting new ministry that the Lord is moving us into.

Happy New Year!

We thought it a great way to bring in the new year with a website redesign, and with it a resolution to be better about keeping things updated especially the blog, and maybe even facebook and twitter.

We look forward to see how the Lord is going to work in and through us this year and are of course excited about our growing family. Erin is in her second trimester now, and it seems that she may be getting over the morning sickness, but we shall see. We will be coming home in April for the delivery in June, but until then are looking forward to see what opportunities this year holds for us here on the islands.

We have a new radio transmitter on the way from the states and are excited at the possibility of reaching more people with the gospel through Christian music, Bible studies, verses of the day, and our very own children’s program. The internship program will continue as well and Erin will be continuing to work closely with the interns practicing English and overseeing some of the livelihood projects.

We are excited to see how God is going to work this year and are grateful to you our friends, family and supporters for allowing us the opportunity to serve the Lord full time here in the Philippines.

In His Service,
Justin and Erin McDonald
Greetings from the Philippines,

It has been an amazing year and God has been more than faithful as we have transitioned from Manila to the Island and into the new ministries here in Bicol. We spent our first four months of this year on furlough and were able to meet with old friends and make some new ones. Upon our arrival back in the Philippines we were blessed to host the youth group from CCC Orange, as they started construction on our home. For the past five months we have ben serving along side Dave Matthews working with the Radio and Internship ministries, and livelihood projects. God is also using this time for us to build relationships with the people on our islands. We are looking forward to the New Year and are pleased to announce that Erin is pregnant and due in June, for which we will be coming home for the delivery. We have experienced his Love and Grace this last year in ways we would never imagine. There are many changes going on here in the ministry, and with the addition to our family, staff changeover and new ministry opportunities, this year is shaping up to be quite an adventure. We pray the Lord will bless this season for you and your loved ones, and give you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

In His Service,
Justin and Erin McDonald
